Services for Charles H. Pinkham, 87, of 1123 Lantern Square, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Cedar Falls, with burial In Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls.

He died Monday at his home.

Mr. Pinkham was born June 12, 1897, at Goldfield, son of Royal A. and Christie McCallum Pinkham. He married Beulah M. Short June 28, 1922, at Goldfield. She died in 1943. He married Sarah B. Thomas June 16, 1945, at Chicago.

He founded Iowa Supply Co., 412 Chestnut, in 1946 and was owner-manager until he retired in 1971. He also worked as a pharmacist at Berg Drugstore on College Hill in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Pinkham was the first secretary of Black Hawk Officials Association. He was "Dad of the Year" at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in 1968; he received an NCAA college football centennial award in 1969; and he received the UNI Service Award in 1974.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, William, Thomas and Neil, all of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Dolores Carlo of Iowa City and Rachel Sailer of Roanoke, Va.; two half-brothers, Mack Keister of California and Lon Keister of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, where visitation will be until 9 p.m. today; from 9 a.m. until noon Thursday; and one hour before service time Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church.
