Edith M. Pinkham

UNION CITY – Edith M. (Knief) Pinkham, 86, of 316 W. Fenton, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 1990 in Community Health Center of Branch County, Coldwater.

She was born in Chicago and worked at Western Electric in Chicago until she was married. She lived in Iowa before moving to Escondido, Calif., with her husband in 1968. The couple moved to Union City in 1985.

Surviving is her husband, Glenn Pinkham. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Union City United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Jenkins Funeral Home.

Death Notice

Word has been received of the deaths of Glenn Pinkham and his wife Edith. Mrs. Pinkham died December 6, in Union City, Mich. Mr. Pinkham died the next day, December 7.

Glenn Pinkham was a well-know and well-loved Speech and English teacher in the Eagle Grove High School and Junior College in the late 1960’s. He retired, approximately, in 1966.

He was born and raised in Goldfield. They were longtime residents of Goldfield. Memorial services were held Dec. 15 at Union City, Mich.
