Henry G. Schleuger, 79, passed away Monday, June 7, 1993, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt, Iowa. Henry was born December 29, 1913, in Goldfield, Iowa. The son of Louis and Katherine (Weitzel) Schleuger. He moved with his family to the Britt area. He attended the country schools. He was united in marriage in 1939 to Marie Watson. The couple farmed in the Garner area, and later moved to Britt. He spent his life in the Farming and Trucking Business.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Schleuger of Britt, Iowa; a daughter Rose and her husband, Roger Gerdes of Fair Grove, Missouri; three sons: Glenn and his wife, Jackie Schleuger of Britt, Iowa; Darold and his wife, Sondra Schleuger of Forest City, Iowa; Dan Schleuger of Britt, Iowa; a sister, Mary Markworth of Mason City, Iowa; two brothers, Louis and his wife, Marie Schleuger of Bemidji, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers and a grandson.
