Anton Asbe Rites to Be at Kanawha
Funeral services for Anton A. Asbe, 70, who died at a Mason City nursing home Wednesday night, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church at Kanawha, with the Rev. Mr. Sampson officiating.

He was born Nov. 2, 1882, in Story County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Asbe. He was a mechanic by trade. On July 2, 1912, he was married to Rena Eliason at Kanawha, where they continued to make their home. Surviving are his wife, two brothers, Thomas Asbe, Belmond, and Louis Asbe, Eagle Grove, and 1 sister, Christina Nervig, Morris, Ill. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Interment will be at the Norway Township Cemetery at Kanawha. Friends may call at the Major Memorial Chapel, Mason City, until 11 a.m. Saturday.
