Roy Hilderbrand Funeral Tuesday
Roy Hilderbrand, 68, retired Goldfield businessman died at 4:00 PM Friday afternoon of a heart attack as he was preparing to back his car out of the driveway.

Roy was born May 23rd 1893 in Newton, Illinois son of the late Anderville and Rhoda Cottongaim Hilderbrand. He was reared and educated in Ill. On October 2nd 1914 he was united in marriage with Myrtle Gosnell. This union was blessed with four daughters Marjorie, Pauline, Rosemary and Rodean. In 1917 he moved to the Goldfield community and farmed for 10 years. Following, he was active in business in Goldfield until his retirement two years ago.

He is survived by his wife Myrtle and four daughters Rosemary, Mrs. Charles Byrd of Iowa Falls; Pauline, Mrs. C.W. Henry, Newton; Marjorie, Mrs. John Whyte and Roedean, Mrs. Larry Frakes both of Goldfield, six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. John Brewer of Shebern, Indiana, and nieces and nephews.

Roy was a loving father and husband. He was active in all community affairs and always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by the family and loved ones.

Funeral services were held December 26 at 2:00 PM in this Sacquety-Sandvig Funeral Chapel in Eagle Grove, Roy T.M. Walton officiated. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield.
