Mrs. C. Knutson Dies Wednesday

Mrs. Conrad Knutson died early Wednesday morning at the University hospital in Iowa City. Mrs. Knutson gave birth to a daughter, Friday, July 21. Mr. Knutson was called to Iowa City Tuesday on account of her serious condition, and she passed away a few hours later.

C. A. Kastler of the Kubitschek & Kastler Funeral Home at Eagle Grove went to Iowa City Wednesday morning for the body and funeral arrangements had not been made when this paper went to press.

Former Gilmore City Girl Died in Hospital

Relatives in Gilmore City received word last week of the death of Mrs. Conrad Knutson of Eagle Grove, who died last Wednesday at the hospital in Iowa City. Mrs. Knutson was twenty years old and was the daughter of Albert Walters, formerly of Gilmore, and a niece of Mrs. Louis Jones, Mrs. H. Phillip, Mrs. J. H. Naeve, and Mrs. Gaffron of Gilmore City, and a granddaughter of Mrs. J. H. Love who lives east of Gilmore. She leaves her husband, a two year old daughter, and an infant daughter.

Funeral services and interment were held at Gilmore.

Mrs. Conrad Knutson Dies at Iowa City

Mrs. Conrad Knutson, who has made her home with her father, A. H. Walters, who moved here several months ago, passed away Wednesday morning at the University hospital at Iowa City. Mrs. Knutson gave birth to a daughter on Friday, July 21, and her condition was regarded serious from that time.

The deceased is survived by her husband, two daughters, Doris aged two and Ethel, one week; her father A. H. Walters; three sisters, Evelyn and Dorothy of Goldfield, and Mrs. Mamie Gerkin of Callender and one brother James of Goldfield.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Kubltschek & Kastler funeral home at Eagle Grove with Rev. A. S. Kilbourne in charge. Burial was made in the Rose Hill [Marble Valley] cemetery,

Final Rites Held for Mrs. Knutson

The funeral of Mrs. Bertha Knutson was held from the Kubltschek & Kastler funeral home Friday afternoon, Rev. Albert S. Kilbourn officiating. A quartet, consisting of Dorothy Benedict, Gladys Emerick, Gail Hall and Margaret Sternberg, with Helen Trout as pianist, sang three beautiful selections. The burial was at Gilmore City.

Bertha Pauline Walters, daughter of Ethel and Albert Walters, was born in Mt. Grove, Missouri, May 8, 1913, and passed away at Iowa City July 26, 1933. She was united in marriage to Conrad Knutson May 16, 1929. To this union three children were born, one of whom died in infancy.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, two daughters, her father, three sisters and one brother and a host of relatives and friends. Her mother and infant son by another marriage preceded her in death.

Burial Made Here.

Mrs. Conrad Knutson of Eagle Grove, who died at Iowa City in the hospital Wednesday morning, July 26th, was brought here for interment in the Marble Valley cemetery Friday. Funeral services were held at Eagle Grove. Mrs. Knutson was a former Gilmore girl, the daughter of Albert Walters.
