Kaye L. Soma Johansen
1 July 1948 ---- 12 January 2011Kaye Johansen, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family January 12, 2011, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband, Darwin, of nearly 45 years; her four children, Sherri, Melissa, Lisa and Brad; her treasured grandchildren and great- grandchildren; along with 16 brothers and sisters and countless other family and friends.
Kaye loved spending time with her family and looked forward to the yearly family reunion at Red Rock. She was also a perfectionist when it came to creating her beautiful flower arrangements. Her generosity touched many lives and she will always be remembered.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m., and funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m., both at Dunn's Chapel located at 2121 Grand Avenue.
