14 June 1894 ---- 17 August 1969

Joseph Jensen, 75, died Sunday at Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge, Iowa after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church, in charge of Rev. H. W. Schiller. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, and two sons: Kenneth and Lowell of Eagle Grove, six grandchildren, one brother, Dr. Carl Jensen of Fort Dodge.

Mr. Jensen was a lifelong resident of Eagle Grove, and had lived on North Wright Ave. all of his life. He was a retired sign painter, and was well known for his oil painting and had also taught art. He was preceded in death by one son Vernon, one daughter Arloine, his parents, one brother, Anders, and two sisters, Jennie and Emma.
