BONFIRE FATAL TO LITTLE GIRL

On Tuesday of this week a distressing accident occurred at the Paul Pletcher home in the Evergreen neighborhood, northeast of here. Their little girl, nearly six years old, was at play where the father was burning some, brush, when her dress caught fire and she was so badly burned that she died that evening.

Funeral services were held at Goldfield on Thursday at 10:00 from the Presbyterian church.

This is an accident and calamity that is heart rending and calls for more than usual sympathy.
