Mrs. Anna Kelling Funeral Saturday

Mrs. Anna, Kelling, 50, long time resident of Wright County and the Goldfield community died Wednesday morning at the Schultz Nursing Home in Eagle Grove.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in Goldfield, with the Rev. Howard Machlan officiating.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Kelling is survived by one son Alvin of Goldfield, and two brothers Henry Babler of Monticello, Wis., and Jacob Babler of Monroe, Wis., also 2 half brothers and 2 half sisters.

Mrs. Anna Kelling

MONTICELLO – Funeral services, for Mrs. Anna Kelling, 81, Goldfield, Iowa,, a native of Monticello, who died in Goldfield on Wednesday, will be held there Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Kelling had spent several months in Monticello with relatives during each of the past two summers. She was born in this vicinity June 29, 1877, and was the former Anna Babler, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Babler Sr. Her husband, Ed Kelling, preceded her in death.

She and her husband farmed in North Dakota and Iowa before retiring to Goldfield.

Mrs. Kelling is survived by one son, Alvin, on the home farm near Goldfield; her stepmother, Mrs. Henry Babler Sr., Monticello two brothers, Henry E. Babler, Monticello, and Jacob Babler, Monroe; two half-brothers, Clarence, Richland Center, and Herman, Monticello; and two half-sisters, Mrs. R. J. Theiler, 4146 Nakoma Rd., Madison, and Mrs. J. F. Freitag, Monroe.

Among those who attended funeral services for Mrs. Anna Kelling at Goldfield Saturday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Anderson. Mrs. Emma Kubly, who accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kubly and Mrs. Sula Frantz of LuVerne and Mrs. Louise Jutto of Des Moines and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith of LuVerne.
