Mildred L. Hulberg
September 3, 1920 --- February 4, 2020

Mildred L. Hulberg, age 99, of Sauk City, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

She was born on September 3, 1920 in Corwith, Iowa, the daughter of Charles A. and Millicent B. (Farrell) Shelton. She was a 1938 graduate of Kanawha High School in Kanawha, Iowa. On November 19, 1941, she was united in marriage to Ardo M. Hulberg in Kirkville, Missouri. Mildred and her husband farmed in Iowa until 1965, then moved to Wisconsin and farmed in the Loganville area until 1968. She retired from farming and moved to Reedsburg. She had worked at the Sauk County Health Care Center as a cook. Mildred was baptized a second time by immersion on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Silver Lake Community Church. She loved reading and watching NASCAR, rooting for Kyle Busch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ardo; and siblings Lenora Carpenter, James Shelton, Charles Shelton and Elva Eenhuis. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Betty) Hulberg of Briggsville, Jim (Sue) Hulberg of Reedsburg and Gary Hulberg of Portage; grandchildren: Ron (Bobbie Jo) Hulberg and daughter, Bronte, Amy Hulberg, Cody (Stephanie) Hulberg and children Cora, Oliver, Jonah and Savanah, Tiffany Hulberg and daughter Lydia, Jerid Hulberg, Nicola (Justin) Beard and their children Alexis, Brayden and Dillion; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mildred Hulberg will be conducted at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor Robert Brandhagen officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be made in the Amsterdam Township Cemetery in Kanawha, Iowa at a later date.

The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.
