UNTIMELY DEATH OF HARRY KNIGHT

Stricken in Prime of Life—Leaves Wife and Two Children Funeral Today.

It is with a degree of sadness that we chronicle the death of Mr. Harry Knight, which occurred Sunday night, June 11, 1916, after an illness of several weeks. He was first taken with pneumonia, which was followed by numerous complications. It is well known that Mr. Knight was a very energetic and hard-working man, which had a great deal to do in hastening the end. He was in the habit of doing as much work as two men ought to do.

Funeral services were held this forenoon from the Episcopal church, the sermon being by the pastor, Rev. James. Mr. Knight was a member of the Woodmen of the World and they attended in a body and had charge of the services at the grave.

Harry Knight was born Dec. 24, 1870, in Clearwell, Gloucestershire, England. He came to America in 1891, locating at Bloomington, Ill., then removing to Corwith, Iowa. He came with his family to Eagle Grove in 1912. For a couple of years they have lived upon the T. A. Warren farm south of town.

He was married to Miss Emma Heinbrodt, at McGregor, Iowa. Two children were born to this union, now aged five and eight years. Mr. Knight has one brother, Charles, at Mason City, and one brother in South Africa. He has five sisters, two in England, one in New Zealand, and Mrs. Art Goad and Mrs. Geo. Conner of this place.

Mr. Knight was a fond husband and father, a most obliging neighbor and a desirable citizen. His death is very untimely and many friends mourn, with the family, his removal.
