Funeral Monday in Presbyterian Church

Mrs. W. D. McCutcheon, 80, died Sunday at the Clarion hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Frank Elliott officiating.

Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. McCutcheon is survive by three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Murshman of Aurora, Colo., Mrs. Joel Duitscher, Grundy Center, and Mrs. Benjamin Krebs of Corwith and 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. McCutcheon was born in Flanigan, Ill. to parents Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Martin. She was graduated from the Goldfield High School in 1909 and in 1915 was married to Wm. D. McCutcheon here in Goldfield. They lived on the farm until 1952 when they moved to Goldfield, where Mrs. McCutcheon maintained her home until her final illness.

Obituary

Clara Belle Martin was born July 18, 1891, at Flanigan, Illinois, the daughter of Franklin and Mahola Pearson Martin. She attended the Goldfield school, and was graduated from there in 1909.

She was united in marriage to William D. McCutcheon of Goldfield on Oct. 28, 1915, at Goldfield.

Mr. and Mrs. McCutcheon farmed near Goldfield until 1952, when they moved to town.

Mr. McCutcheon died in 1966.

Mrs. McCutcheon continued to maintain her home in Goldfield until she was admitted to the Clarion Hospital two weeks prior to her death on November 14, at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 26 days.

She is survived by three daughters; Wilda, Mrs. Cecil Murshman, Aurora, Colorado; Barbara, Mrs. Joel Duitscher, Grundy Center, and Norma, Mrs. Benjamin Krebs, Corwith; also surviving are ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and a daughter, Ruth Jones.

Mrs. McCutcheon was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, the UPW, and the Oakdale D.O.C.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 16, at 2 p.m. in the United Presbyterian Church at Goldfield. Rev. Frank Elliott officiated and burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield.
