Dorothea Magdalene “Dora” Hoffman Pitcock
7 July 1888 ---- 20 June 1965

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Pitcock were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Church of the Open Bible, with the pastor Dr. Lloyd Meyer officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Pitcock died Sunday at Bel Chris Manor in Belmond. She had been ill for a number of years.

Mrs. Pitcock was born July 7, 1886 to parents Mr. and Mrs. Adam Hoffman in Metamora, Ill. She came to Eagle Grove when she was 15 years of age. She was married to Henry Pitcock, who preceded her in death some years ago.

She is survived by one brother Isadore Hoffman of San Bernadino, Calif., two sisters Mrs. Nettie Swenson of Colton City, Calif., and Mrs. Cecilia Hausman of Braidwood, Ill.
