Miss Perdicaris Died Saturday
Miss Lorraine Perdicaris, 22, died Saturday, July 10, at her home in this city. Funeral services were held Monday at the Baptist church with the Rev. Harry Throckmorton in charge. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Obituary
Lorraine N. Perdicaris, daughter of Mrs. Louis Perdicaris, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, July 9, 1921 and died at her home in Eagle Grove July 10, 1943 at the age of 22 years and 1 day. Lorraine spent her entire life in Eagle Grove. She was educated in the Eagle Grove schools and was popular in school activities. In the year 1935 she was converted and February 18, 1935 she was baptized into the fellowship of the First Baptist Church of Eagle Grove. For 3 years she played the piano for the church services and also taught a Sunday school class. In March, 1942 she entered the Oakdale Sanitarium and later she was taken to Iowa City for surgical care after which she was returned to Oakdale. On June 9, 1943, she returned to her home from the Sanitarium where she remained until the time of her death.

Besides her loving mother she leaves to mourn her passing, two brothers, LaMar, with the U. S. Marines, Bobby at home, also Patty Perdicaris and an uncle Peter Perdicaris. Her father, Lewis Perdicaris, preceded her in death in March, 1935. She had other relatives and many friends that mourn her departure.

Funeral was held at the Baptist Church Monday, July 12. Burial was in Eagle Grove in charge of Rev. Throckmorton.
