Funeral services are pending at the Sandvig Funeral Home for Jennie Bjornson, 88, who died late Wednesday afternoon at the Rotary Ann Home.

Mrs. Jennie Bjornson Funeral Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Bjornson, 88, were held Saturday afternoon in the United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Frank Elliott officiated and burial was in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Bjornson died June 12th at the Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove where she had been a patient for three weeks.

She is survived by two brothers, John McCutcheon and W. H. McCutcheon of Goldfield; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Bjornson of Corwith, Mrs. Paul Pardun of Clarion, Mrs. Clifford Axon and Mrs. Glen Trotter of Goldfield.

Mrs. Bjornson was born in Tama County and came to Goldfield with her parents in 1881. She was married to Arthur Bjornson in 1903 in Goldfield, and they farmed north of here until 1945 when they retired and moved to their home in Goldfield.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the D.O.C.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Mildred, her parents, one brother, Hugh McCutcheon and two sisters, Maisie Eckels and Nellie Umstead.
