Funeral services for Mrs. Gunhild Moss, 84, of Humboldt will be held Thursday afternoon, February 6, at the Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Pastor Otto of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Chruch will officiate, with interment in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove. The funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Moss passed away Monday morning, February 3, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sloy Elwood in Humboldt, following a lengthy illness.

Casket bearers will be Palmer Moss, Olaf Moss, Martin Moss, Orville Moss, Norris Skadburg and Percy Elkin.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Elwood; a son, Ervin Moss of Humboldt; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Maland of Hayden Lake, Idaho; and a sister, Mrs. Metta Houland who is living in Norway.

Mrs. Moss was born September 22, 1884, in Norway, where she was reared and educated. She came to the United States in 1909 and settled in Cambridge. In 1910 she married Iver Moss and the couple lived at Roland, Kanawha and Eagle Grove.

In 1948, they retired from farming and in 1953 moved to Humboldt. Mr. Moss died in 1961. For the past seven years, she had made her home with her daughter.
