Almeda Eliza (Shaver) Zollinger
29 May 1858 -- 28 January 1924

Mrs. Almeda Zollinger of Miami died at 1:30 Monday morning at Battle Creek, Mich., following a short illness. Mrs. Zollinger, who was taken ill on a business trip to Battle Creek, had been a resident of Miami for the last eight years. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Celia May Moon and Madame Matthews, both of Coral Gables. The remains left Battle Creek for Miami Monday night. Funeral arrangements will be made by the King Undertaking Co.

[Almeda Eliza Shaver was born May 29, 1858 in Montreal, Canada. She moved to Illinois with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Shaver, and then to Elmore, Minnesota. She married Albert Zollinger on May 8, 1885 in Blue Earth, Faribault, Minnesota. They were living in Goldfield, Iowa in 1887 where their son Charley Zollinger was born and died. Charley is buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield, Iowa. Her husband, Albert Henry Zollinger died January 15, 1916 in Battle Creek, Calhoun, Michigan;]
