Clifford Axon Funeral Held Wednesday P. M.

Clifford Axon, 70, died Sunday Aug. 26th in Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge where he had been a patient for two days. He had been in poor health for several years.

A former Goldfield merchant, he was born here on March 29, 1892. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Mervin of Eagle Grove and Kenneth of Goldfield, seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Presbyterian church, with Rev. Kay Mills officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery.
