Mollie Elizabeth Williams Toillion
30 September 1889 --- 15 March 1983

Mrs. Mollie S. Toillion, the daughter of Adam and Amy Gowdy Williams, was born at Carmi, Ill. on September 30, 1889. She moved to Iowa with her parents and the family lived at West Bend, Rolfe and Goldfield. On January 24, 1917, she was united in marriage with John R. Toillion at Eagle Grove. They lived most of their lives in Eagle Grove, except for a few years during the 1940s when they lived in the states of Washington and Oregon, doing defense work during World War II. Mr. Toillion died in 1963.

She was a long-time member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. She died on Tuesday night, March 15, 1983 at the Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove at the age of 93 years, five months and 15 days. She had been a resident of the Rotary Ann Home for the past several years.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Irene Costello of Charlotte, Iowa; a son, James Toillion, Sr. of Eagle Grove; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and three brothers.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 19, 1983 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove. Rev. Fr. John Hemann, church pastor officiated and burial was in the
Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Rosary services and visitation were held on Friday at Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home.
