Ardith (Ardi) Watrous died peacefully in her sleep on January 12, 2012, at her residence in Morning
Star, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 82.

She was born on June 15, 1929, to Johannes and Bertha Halverson in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1947. Ardi was united in marriage to Jim Watrous in Des Moines in January, 1952. They were the parents of three daughters, Terri, Kim, and Lisa. She had an Associates Degree in the insurance industry and was retired from the Lauterbach Agency.

Ardi was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim, in May 2010, and her four siblings,
Jean, Halvie, Clem, and Sal. She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, two
granddaughters, and several cousins in Eagle Grove. She also had many relatives in Iowa, Norway, and Canada. Memorial services for Ardi were held at Morning Star in Littleton, Colorado.
