Lizzie Boehrnsen Wolff
21 June 1889 ---- 16 March 1981

Mrs. Lizzie Wolff, the daughter of Herman and Phobe Boehrnsen, was born on June 21, 1889, at Chicago, Illinois. She died early Monday morning, March 16, 1981, at the Clarion Care Center in Clarion, Iowa. She attained the age of 91 years, 8 months and 25 days. She grew up and attended school in Chicago, Illinois. On July 9, 1906, she was united in marriage with Otto Wolff of Chicago at Clarion Iowa. After their marriage, the couple lived at Lytton, Iowa and then moved to Eagle Grove, where the family has lived for many years.

Lizzie had been a resident of the Clarion Care Center since July 22, 1980. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by three daughters, Bettie, Mrs. Robert Koob of Eagle Grove; June, Mrs. Chester
Hunt of Eagle Grove; Phyllis, Mrs. Frank Bacon of Fort Dodge; two sons, Otto Wolff of Webster City;
Albert Wolff of Clarion; 33 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, who died in November 12, 1953; a son,
Ellsworth; four daughters, Evelyn Summers, Luella Kurilla, Ruby Wolff, Dorothy Wolff, several
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Wolff, of Eagle Grove, were held on Thursday, March 19, 1981, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Kenneth R. Torvik was the minister and the burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. The funeral service and visitation was held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home.
