LAS VEGAS, NV — Randall Cory Holtan, 62, of Las Vegas, formally of Thor, Iowa, passed away on July 30, 2019, following a brief illness.

Randy was born October 2, 1956, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Roger and Lois [Bakke] Holtan. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1975. He attended the University of Iowa. He was united in marriage to Linda Fuller on July 23, 1988, in Fort Dodge. The couple resided in Las Vegas for the last 31 years.

Randy is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Connor and Cody of Las Vegas; brother, Scott (Anne) Holtan, Coal Valley, Illinois; sister, Maria (Kurt) Olson, Humboldt; mother-in-law, Verona Fuller, Fort Dodge; brothers-in-law, A. J. Taylor, Forest City; Tim (Deb) Fuller, Fort Dodge; sister-in-law, Janet (Odis) Trammell, Hurst, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Lois Holtan; sister, Julie Holtan-Taylor; grandparents Gilman and Edna Holtan and Rev. Halvor and Inger Bakke; and his father-in-law, Charles Fuller.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 11 a.m., at Ullensvang Lutheran Church, in Thor, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Thor Community Hall.
