McCAUSLAND–In this city, September 11, 1928, Charles F. McCausland, dearly beloved son of the late Elizabeth and Andrew L. McCausland, loving brother of Wm. F. and John L. McCausland of this city. Mrs. H. A. Cooke of Sonora, Cal., and James E. McCausland of Elmore, Minnesota, a native of Illinois, aged 65 years. A member of Brotherhood of American Yoemen.
Friends may call at Anderson's, Valencia st. at 25th st. Remains will be shipped Friday morning to Eagle Grove, Iowa, for Interment in family plot.

Chas. McCausland Died in San Francisco, Calif.
Word was received Wednesday noon by Mrs. Ralph Humphreys of the death of her uncle, Chas. McCausland, which occurred Tuesday afternoon in San Francisco, Calif. No details concerning his illness or death were given in the message. Mr. McCausland moved to the west nearly three years ago with Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Cooke, and since that time has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Cooke, and brothers, John and Will McCausland. Mr. and Mrs. Cooke are accompanying the body here, and it is expected they will arrive here some time Friday.

Chas. McCausland, a former resident of this city passed away last Tuesday, Sept. 11, in San Francisco Calif., following a short illness. The remains were brought to Eagle Grove Monday noon and were accompanied by Mr. McCausland's sister, Mrs. H. A. Cooke, and grandson, Richard, of Sonora, Calif.
Funeral services were held from the Sacred Heart church Tuesday morning at nine o'clock, with Very Rev. Father Nolan in charge. Burial was made in Calvary cemetery.
Chas. McCausland was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred [Andrew] McCausland of this city, and was born in Lena, Ill., sixty-five years ago. He made his home here the greater part of his life, and two and one-half years ago moved to California, where he has resided with his brothers and sister. He has been in failing health for some time, but his last illness was of short duration.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. H. A. Cooke of Sonora, Calif., three brothers, James of Elmore, Minn., John and Will of San Francisco, Calif., one niece, Mrs. Ralph Humphreys of this city, and a nephew, Dr. Earl McCausland of Lake Park, Iowa.
Mr. and Mrs. James McCausland and son of Elmore, and Dr. and Mrs. Earl McCausland of Lake Park motored here to attend the funeral.
Sincere sympathy is extended the relatives in their time of sorrow.
