William “Sarge” Steiner Jr., 69, of Webster City, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Boone County Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Mark Eichler officiating. Burial will be held at Cass Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

William Daniel Steiner Jr. was born July 2, 1946 in St. Paul Minnesota, the son of William and Regina (Richter) Steiner, Sr. He received his education in Circle Pine Minnesota. Sarge served in the United States Army during Vietnam and in the Army Reserve. He retired from Electrolux after over 30 years of employment.

Sarge is survived by his daughter, Rebbecca Bedow and fiance, George Mittrucker of Superior; son, Israel Bedow of Rochester, MN; granddaughters, Jessica Bedow and husband Thomas Hoelscher Jr., Nicol Sweazey, April Sweazey; great-grandchildren, Haylee, Wyatt, Hazel, Helen, Thomas III, Caleb, Alexis, Sophia, Liam, Kira; brothers, Richard Steiner, Pete Steiner, Robert Steiner, all of Minnesota; and all the friends whose lives were touched by Sarge. Sarge was preceded in death by his parents.

Sarge was a member of the VFW, ABATE and the NRA. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
