Services for Thomas J. McNeil, 83, of 1316 Fourteenth St., were at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at St. John's church. Burial was in Glendale cemetery. Mr. McNeil died Thursday at Broadlawns General hospital, of complications following a broken hip. Born in McGregor, he lived in Des Moines 50 years. He was a retired fireman for the Des Moines Union Railway Co., and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen. Surviving are his widow and a daughter, Mrs. Agatha Barrett of Miami Beach, Fla.
