Ross Adair Brewster
14 February 1891 --- 1 January 1948

Ross Brewster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Brewster, was born in Clarion, February 14, 1891, and passed away at his home in Eagle Grove on January 3, 1948, at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 20 days.

He was educated in the Clarion schools, graduating from the high school. He was united in marriage to Anna Baudendistle of Dodge Center, Minn., on the 29th day of May, 1916. One daughter was born to this union, Mrs. Lloyd Pardun (Arlene) of Badger. There is also one step-daughter, Mrs. Don Biggs (Beatrice) of Omaha, Neb.

He has lived his entire life around Clarion and Eagle Grove, He worked on the C. & N. W. railroad for 30 years in various capacities, but for the past number of years has been a machinist in the local shops. Two years and four months ago because of failing health he was retired on a railway pension and has been in failing health ever since.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters. He was the only one left of his family. Left to mourn his passing are, his wife Anna, two daughters, Arlene and Beatrice, and four grandchildren, Marilyn, Raymond, and Frank Pardun, and Donald Biggs besides a number of friends.
