Funeral services for Nellie Kauffman
Mrs. Nellie Kauffman, 82, former Eagle Grove business woman, died Thursday evening June 21 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pershing Gunderson, following a short illness. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church in charge of Rev. H. W. Schiller. Interment was in the family lot at Stanhope.

Mrs. Kauffman is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gunderson, two sons, Arlo of Des Moines and Dean of Short Hills, N.J. Other survivors include seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Kepler of North Hollywood, Calif, and Mrs. Evelyn Holmes of Malverne, Long Island, N.Y. and one brother, Elmer Nelson, of St. Paul, Minn.

Mrs. Kauffman and her family moved to Eagle Grove in 1923 and she opened the Clip and Curl Beauty Shop which she operated until retiring three years ago on account of her health. Since that time she has made her home with her daughter.
