Paul F. Mentzer, 50, Sunrise Beach, died Sunday in the Fitzsimmons Veterans Hospital, Aurora. Colo., after a long illness. Mr. Mentzer was 27-year Army veteran. Survivors include his wife. Betty; a son, Kevin, Hollywood. Calif.; two daughters. Miss Peggy Mentzer, Hollywood, and Mrs. Susan Dean, Angola. N.Y.; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Mentzer, Eagle Grove, Iowa; brother, Roger, Clarion. Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Smith, Omaha. Neb., and Mrs. Margaret Heuton, Springfield; and three grandchildren. Greenlawn Battlefield South will announce arrangements.

Burial in Springfield National Cemetery in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri.
