MRS. WILLIAMS DIES
EAGLE GROVE, Iowa, Dec. 8 — Mrs. Zelma Williams, 54, died at the University Hospital at Iowa City Friday. Funeral services were held Sunday. Mrs. Williams was born in Randall, and had lived in Iowa all her life.

Selma Kristin Lear Williams, daughter of the late Sigbjorn and Kristin Lear, was born Nov. 15, 1887, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. At the age of three years and at the time of the death of her father, she was taken into the G. G. Wallen home at Randall, Iowa. She resided there until three years ago, when Mr. Wallen died, and then she came to Eagle Grove to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Paul Hansel. Six weeks ago she went to Iowa City for medical attention and death came to her there early on Friday morning, Dec. 5. August 13, 1925, she was married to Walter Williams of Jewell, Ia.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her sister, Mrs. Paul Hansel, two brothers, Henry Lear of Modesto, Calif., and Oliver Lear of Warrick, Mont.; and two half brothers, Elmer Helgesen of St. Paul, Minn., Harold Helgesen of Tacoma, Wash., and three half sisters, Alma Gardner of Stevens, S. Dak.; Hazel Mathison of Missoula, Mont.; and Louise Stewart, also of Missoula, Mont.; and a brother-in-law, William Schurman of Big Sandy, Mont. Those who have preceded her in death are her parents, foster parents, and one sister, Josephine Schurman.

Funeral services were held at Wilson's Funeral Chapel Sunday, Dec. 7. Interment was at Rose Hill cemetery.
