DOUGLAS L. LONNING

Doug Lonning was born at Clarion on April 10, 1953 and was the son of Delmar and Marguerite M. (Tory) Fulford Lonning. He was raised and educated in Clarion and graduated from the Clarion High School. He was in Colorado for a short time with Job Corps and worked many years in the Clarion B & W.

Douglas L. Lonning, 39, Clarion was found dead in his home on Wednesday. He died on Sunday, July 19, 1992.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church where he had been baptized and confirmed. He was an usher and scripture reader and had been a synod delegate.

He is survived by a brother, Dean M. Lonning of Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held on Saturday morning at ten o’clock from the First Lutheran Church. Rev. William Granger officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. The Willim Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Special music was by Gary Schmit. Casket bearers were Alan and Steven Lonning, Bernie Case, Paul Kirstein, Jerry Meyer and Charles Radechel.
