Former Resident Buried Here
Peter H. Lyman, 71, a former C. & N. W. Northern Iowa engineer, died Sunday at his home in Bradford, Ill. Mr. Lyman had been ill for the last three years, but a stroke was the immediate cause of his death. Mr. Lyman is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Fred Barrette of Los Angeles, Calif., two sisters and one brother, Mrs. M. W. Case of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. A. T. Briggs of Missouri Valley, and D. W. Lyman of Long Pine, Neb. The funeral, was held at Bradford at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon and the body was brought to Eagle Grove for burial Wednesday afternoon. Brief services were conducted at the grave and the body was laid to rest in the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Lyman was unable to be present at the burial on account of illness. Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Lyman of Long Pine, Neb. and Mrs. A. T. Briggs of Missouri Valley were present and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cragg while here.
