Former resident dies in South Dakota
Mrs. A. E. [Andrew E.] Distad, a former Eagle Grove resident, died suddenly Sunday afternoon about 4 o'clock, in the yard of her home in Webster, S. D. She was the former Carrie Larson of Eagle Grove, a sister of Mrs. Mable Hanson, Mrs. Jennie Jergensen and Lewis J. Larson of Eagle Grove. Funeral services will be at Webster this afternoon, and the Eagle Grove relatives will be present for the funeral, also Mr. and Mrs. Howard Larson. Mrs. Distad was a graduate of Eagle Grove High School with the class of 1908. Her husband, the Rev. Distad, was pastor of Samuel Lutheran Church here at one time.
