Carrie Chapman McBeth
17 November 1874 ---- 21 March 1950

Mrs. Alex McBeth, 75, died Tuesday morning at her home in this city. She has been ill for several months.

Survivors include her husband, and five children: Harold McBeth and J. O. McBeth of this city; Alex McBeth of Milan, Ill., Mrs. Merrit Armour and Mrs. Ernest Sharp of Clarion. Also 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kastler Funeral home. Rev. Lloyd Meyer will be in charge, and interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery.

Carrie Chapman, was born Nov. 10, 1874, to parents Mr. and Mrs. Asa S. Chapman, on a farm in Wall Lake township, Wright county. She had spent her entire life in Wright county. She was married to Jacob Alexander McBeth in November, 1894. Her father was state representative from Wright county for four years. Mrs. McBeth was the last remaining member of her family, as both parents, and brother and sister had preceded her in death.
