ARLINGTON, S.D. - Agnes E. Murphy, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, died Monday in Clarion, Iowa. She was 94. Agnes Bennett was born Nov. 19, 1888, in rural Arlington and married Charles Jones in October of 1907 in Arlington. She married William H. Murphy in 1916 in Arlington. After her husband's death in 1950, she lived in Iowa. Survivors include three sons: Harold Jones, Arlington; Howard Murphy, Eagle Grove, Iowa, and Kenneth Murphy, Cedar Falls, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Art (Opal) Tullis, Madison; and a brother, Guy Bennett, Cloverdale, Ore.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of Christ in Arlington. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening in the Johnson-Henry Funeral Home, Arlington.
