LOHRVILLE, IA - The Rev. Robert Jones, 63, pastor of the United Methodist Churches in Lohrville and Rinard, died of a heart attack Saturday at the Stewart Hospital in Lake City. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. The Rev. Mr. Jones had been pastor of the Lohrville and Rinard churches for one year. He previously had served Wesley, Prairie Center, Rembrandt, Truesdale, Olin, Morley, Woodward, Sheffield and Chapin.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; his mother, Ruby Jones of Eagle Grove; three daughters, Barbara Davidson of Boone, Cheryl Hoffner of Naperville, Ill., and Sandra Brewer of Nashua; two brothers, Gerald of Manson and David of Eagle Grove; three sisters, Betty Lenning of Humboldt, Beverly Fisher of Dumont, and Marilyn Mosher of Sterling, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.
