Mother Succumbs
Jessie Lamb Hill, mother of Mrs. Clarence Krause, was born Oct. 21, 1874, at Sidney, Ia. She passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 4, at the age of 76 years, two months and 14 days. Jessie Wilcox and William Henry Lamb were married on Aug. 30, 1899. Mr. Lamb preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1930. To this union were born nine children, three having since passed away, one daughter who died in infancy, Virgil Lamb was killed in World War II and Norman Eugene Lamb was accidentally killed in 1911. The following children remain to mourn the loss of their mother: Mrs. James Lamb of Vesper, Wis.; Mrs. Clarence Krause, LuVerne; Edward Lamb, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; Earl Lamb, Mason, Mich.

Services were held at the Wilson funeral chapel in Eagle Grove Saturday, Jan. 7, in the charge of the Rev. Lloyd W. Meyer of the Church of the Open Bible. Burial was made in Rosehill cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Jessie Hill Rites Saturday
Mrs. Jessie Lamb Hill, 76, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 4th at the Clausen Nursing home. Mrs. Hill
had been ill for about a month following a stroke. Before her last illness, Mrs. Hill had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Hill. Funeral services were held at the Wilson Chapel Saturday, Jan. 7th at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Lloyd W. Meyer, and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Hill is survived by six daughters and sons, James Lamb of Visper, Wis., Mrs. Clarence Krause
of LuVerne, Edward Lamb of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Earl Lamb of Mason, Mich., Anna Lamb of Lynnwood, Iowa and Mrs. James Hill of this city.
