April 20, 1912 --- September 21, 1991

Frank Andrew Fisher was born April 20, 1912, at Eagle Grove and attended Eagle Grove schools. He worked as a laborer until entering the service and served in World War II and Korea. He served in the Army for 14 years. He returned to Eagle Grove and worked as a carpenter and farm hand.

He was a member of the American Legion at Woolstock.

Frank Fisher, 78, Woolstock, died Saturday, September 21, 1991, at the Franklin County Hospital in Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Mary Fisher; one brother, Lyle; and two sisters, Gertrude Yoder and Bernice Ashpole.

He is survived by a brother, Albert, Des Moines; and a sister, Bessie Claussen, Des Moines.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. The Rev. David Miller, pastor of First Baptist Church, Eagle Grove, officiated. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
