OBITUARY OF NELS J. FALK

Nels J. Falk was born August 12, 1861, at Kvinnherred, Norway, where he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. He came to America in 1883, and settled in Jewell, Iowa. In 1902 he moved to Eagle Grove. In 1883 he was married to Miss Anna Hanson, to which union were born: Christine, Mrs. Charles Johnson; Hans, deceased; Ida, Mrs. Sam Joberg; Nellie, Anna and Esther. Mr. Falk was hurt at the railroad yards here about eight weeks ago. After receiving medical treatment here, he was taken to Chicago about five weeks ago, where he died at the hospital, November 16. He was buried from the West Side Lutheran church, November 19, Rev. Spande officiating. Mr. Falk leaves a very devoted and respected family of wife and five children, who have the sympathy of a large circle of relatives, friends and neighbors.
