February 10, 1865 --- April 28, 1944

Mrs. Henry Fisher died at her home east of Eagle Grove Friday, and funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the East Side Lutheran church. Rev. Severtson was in charge. Burial was made in the family lot in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Fisher is survived by four sons and two daughters; Roy, Carl, and George Fisher, of this city, Jay Fisher of Blue Earth, Minn., Mrs. Lillian Pingle, Alden, Mrs. Ellen Whiting of Waterville, Vermont.

Obituary

Anna Sophia Berman was born to the parents, Karl and Karolina Berman at Westervik, Sweden, on February 10th, 1865, and died at her home near Eagle Grove, Iowa, April 28, 1944, age 79 years, 2 months and 18 days. She was baptized unto Christ in infancy, received Christian instruction and confessed her Christian faith in her youth in her church at Westervik.

She came to Eagle Grove, Iowa, and on January 28th, 1891 was united in marriage to Henry Fisher, who had also come from Westervik, Sweden. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher lived on their farm home near Eagle Grove where he passed away May 8th, 1930. Mrs. Fisher is now survived by four sons, viz: Roy, Carl and George Fisher of Eagle Grove and Jay Fisher of Blue Earth, Minn., and by two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Pingle of Alden, Iowa, and Mrs. Ellen Whiting of Waterville, Vermont.

She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and by 3 great grandchildren. And by one brother Gustave Berman of Cherieville, Kansas. Her son, Gustave, died at Camp Grant, Iowa, in October, 1919.

Mrs. Fisher was a quiet, unassuming lady, a kind and loving wife and mother, a kind and helpful neighbor.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 1, from the Kubltschek & Kastler Funeral Home and from the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church. Burial was made in the family lot of the Rose Hill cemetery.
