Obituary

Annie Senty was born near Arcadia, Wis., Dec. 3, 1862. Her girlhood was spent on the farm with her parents, Mr. and. Mrs. Thomas Senty, who have preceded her in death. She united with the Evangelic church at 15 years of age of which she remained a faithful member until death. She was married to C. O. Schwenck on the 20th day of November, 1888. Two children were born to this union, Sumner of Eagle Grove and Amy Vorre of Humboldt. Besides her husband and two children, she leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary Roe of Washington, Iowa, and four brothers, Geo. and Julius Senty of Arcadia, Wis., Peter of Minot, North Dakota, and Martin of Elroy, Wisc.

Mrs. Schwenck had a kind and helpful disposition. She was a faithful wife and a wonderful mother. Her passing is mourned by a host of friends in this community. She passed away at her home May 21, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 19 days.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by the Rev. Breaw. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

I cannot say and I will not say
That she is dead; she is just away
With a cheery smile and a wave of
the hand
She has wandered into an unknown
land.
Leaving us wondering how very fair
It must be, since he lingers there.
I cannot say and I will not say
That she is dead; she is just away
