January 11, 1842 --- May 24, 1932

Pioneer Citizen Dies at Home of His Daughter, Mrs. W. C. Smith, Tuesday Evening, May 24.

Albert Fisher, 90, died at the home of his daughter Tuesday evening after an illness of several weeks. For the past week, it was known that his rugged constitution could not hold out much longer and he passed peacefully away on Tuesday evening. Mr. Fisher was one of the pioneer settlers of this part of Iowa, coming here in 1881 and engaging in farming and stock raising. During his declining years he gave up active work and made his home with his daughter in this city. The surviving relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in this community during the time of their sorrow.
