August 12, 1887 --- April 24, 1944

Mrs. George Dial, 56, died Monday at her home a long illness. Mrs. Dial is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Harold Mosher of Algona and Mrs. Louise Farnstrom of Detroit, Mich., and one son, Cpl. Tex Dial, who is with the armed forces.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational church in charge of Rev. L. M. Wilkinson. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Obituary

Minnie Hacker was born August 12, 1887 to parents, Andrew and Minnie Hacker of Chicago, Illinois. She was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical church at Gillman, Illinois. On April 3, 1911 she was united in marriage to George Dial in Gillman. To this union three children were born, a son, Cpl. Tex Dial of Los Angeles. Calif., and two daughters, Mrs. Loraine Mosher of Algona, Iowa and Mrs Louise Farnstrom of Detroit. Michigan. Mrs. Dial had been in falling health for a number of years and passed away at her home on East Third St. South in Eagle Grove, on Monday morning, April 24 at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. She is survived by her husband, George Dial of this city, one son, two daughters, one sister, two brothers and five grandchildren. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother, and will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives.
