DEATH CALLS MRS. J. G. EATON TUESDAY P.M.

End Follows Illness of Few Hours Duration. Funeral at Baptist Church This Afternoon.

Mrs. J. G. Eaton, 77, died at her home in this city at 2:15 Tuesday afternoon. She was suddenly taken sick Tuesday morning. Rev. Eaton called the children and they all reached her bedside before her passing.

Funeral services will be held in the Baptist church this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Hammar of Alta in charge, in the absence of Rev. Miller who is traveling in the Ozark region of Missouri.

Those surviving besides Rev. Eaton are two boys and two girls. They are W. O. Eaton, Britt, A. LeRoy Eaton, Cedar Rapids. Mrs. M. L. Cline, Walnut Grove, Minn. and Mrs. R. C. Vaughn, Cedar Rapids, also eight grandchildren. John H. Eaton, a son, died four years ago.
