JOHN EATON DIES AT BOISE AFTER 3 WEEKS ILLNESS

POCATELLO, May 31, The body of John H. Eaton, 47, arrived here from Boise last night. He passed away Sunday at the Veterans Hospital, being a patient there for three weeks. Eaton is survived by his widow Sadie Eaton.

Eaton according to reports is a veteran railroad conductor. He was an ex-service man, and a member of the Montpelier American Legion. He was a member of the local Elks lodge.

Funeral rites were held during Wednesday.

FORMER RESIDENT PASSED AWAY

Pocatello, Idaho –Funeral services were conducted at the McHan mortuary Wednesday afternoon for John H. Eaton, 47, war veteran and Oregon Short Line conductor, who died in the Boise Veterans hospital Sunday. Burial was in the Mountainview Cemetery.

Mr. Eaton was born in Missouri, August 31, 1885, and entered the employ of the railroad in 1912. He was a member of the Elks lodge and of Montpelier Post, American Legion.

Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Sadie Eaton of the Riverview Apartments.
