Mrs. Thomas Sathre, 86, died at Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge, Monday morning, January 7 after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church, Kenneth R. Torvik, pastor, Friday, January 11 at 2 with interment at Rose Hill cemetery.

She was born Olena to Jart and Elizabeth Yenesdahl near Brokke, Norway, August 5, 1876. She came to the United States in 1903, living in Minneapolis until her marriage Jan. 5, 1907 to Tom Sathre of Eagle Grove, Iowa, thereafter living in Eagle Grove. Baptized and confirmed in Norway, she has been a member of Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church since 1907.

She is survived by her husband, Tom, three sons, Clarence of Dallas, Texas; Melvin of Scottsdale, Arizona; and Lloyd of Los Angeles, Calif., and by one daughter Gladys, Mrs. Charles Creed of Phoenix, Arizona, and by ten grandchildren.
