Orval W. Anderson, 75, of Webster City, died Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Hamilton Hospital. A Gathering will be held in the Foster Chapel from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, followed by a reception at the First Baptist Church.

Orval Wayne Anderson, son of Salmer and Ida Jordanger Anderson, was born October 16, 1928 on a farm northwest of Holmes. He attended rural schools near Holmes and graduated from Clarion high school in 1946. He farmed southeast of Clarion. In 1964, he moved to Des Moines and sold computers and computer support systems. He returned to Clarion and worked at the Ernest Hardware later moving to Webster City and worked at Eddy Hardware. For 20 years he had been employed at Pagel Window and Glass, retiring because of failing health in 2002.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Maylene, son, Christopher Brubaker; sister, Alma Maxon.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Anderson, his parents and a sister, Adeline Anderson.
