Services on Sunday for Carl Buraas [Burras], 54

EAGLE GROVE – Carl Hanson [Hansen] Buraas [Burras], 54, died at his residence in Norway township Thursday.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at the St. John’s Lutheran church in Norway township, in charge of the Rev. T. J. Severtson.

Burial will be made in the Norway cemetery, Humboldt county.

Surviving are the wife, nine children and three brothers.

Carl Buraas [Burras] Rites Are Conducted at St. John’s Church

KANAWHA – Funeral services were held for Carl H. Buraas [Burras] of Kanawha Sunday at the St. John’s Lutheran church. Mr. Buraas [Burras]] died Thursday following a lingering illness.

Surviving are his wife and nine children: Stanley, Cora, Irving, Raymond, Arlene, Carroll, Verna, Roger and Opal.

Special music was furnished at the services by a mixed quartet composed by Miss Gladys Espe, Mrs. A. Burnham, James Mehl and Lismore Stole and a duet by Sten Stenson and Mrs. Hendrickson.

Pallbearers were Andrew Scott, Austin Espe, Bert Roskamp, James Mehl, Sr., Nels Williamson and Andrew Olson.

Services were conducted by the Rev. M. N. Peterson, pastor of the St. John’s Lutheran church.

Interment was in the Norway Lake cemetery near Eagle Grove.

Carl Buraas [Burras] passed away Thursday afternoon after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the St. John's Lutheran church In Norway township
with the Rev. M. N. Peterson in charge. Burial was in the cemetery near Thor.

Several from this vicinity attended the funeral of Carl Buraas [Burras] at St. John’s church. Mr. Buraas [Burras] is a brother-in-law of Selmar Anderson.
