Steve Wall was born on May 17, 1952, in Oelwein, Iowa, the son of Carl Bruce Wall and Janet Warnstadt Wall. He graduated in 1970 from Eagle Grove High School at Eagle Grove. He was a supervisor of the baggage department for American Airlines at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. He was a member of the Transportation Worker's Union at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.

Steve Wall died at his home of cancer in Irving, Texas, on Tuesday, September 8, 1998, at the age of 46.

Survivors include his parents, Bruce and Janet Wall of Irving, Texas; one brother, Don Wall of Arlington, Texas; and two nephews, both of Arlington, Texas.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 1998, at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein, Iowa, with the Reverend Frederick C. Fangmann officiating.

Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Homes, Inc. of Oelwein are in charge of arrangements.
