Services for Roy R. Stromquist, 71, 2921 42nd Av. S., who died Tuesday, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Free Evangelical Church of Freedhem, Freedhem, Minn., north of Little Falls. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stromquist was born in Wright County, Iowa, and lived in Freedhem from 1910 to 1922, when he moved to Minneapolis. He was employed by the Ford Motor Co. as a glass furnace operator for 35 years until his retirement in 1958. He was a member of First Covenant Church in Minneapolis. He is survived by his widow, Hilma; two sons, Raymond, New Ulm; Herbert, Northfield, and 10 grandchildren. Memorials are preferred to First Covenant Church, Minneapolis. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday in the Shelley-Thompson Mortuary, Little Falls.
